This Policy applies to the desktop application and back-end services we operate (e.g., authentication, license verification). Unless expressly stated, it does not cover third-party websites you may visit to download the Software.
3. What We Collect
- Account Data: email address, display name (if provided), plan information (Free/Pro/Team), subscription status, and—where applicable—billing-related identifiers handled by our payment processors.
- License & Device Data: plan type, license start/end or expiry information, device identifiers (e.g., hardware ID) to enforce device limits and help prevent fraud.
- Authentication Tokens: tokens generated by our authentication provider to sign you in and keep your session active on your device.
- Usage and Diagnostics: crash logs and basic analytics to improve stability and performance. We do not collect your datasets, projects, or annotation content.
- Support Communications: messages you send to us (e.g., email to info@smyrnai.co).
4. What We Do Not Collect
We do not collect or store your project images, datasets, or annotation content in our servers. Such content remains on your local device unless you independently choose to sync or share it by your own means.
5. Legal Bases (GDPR) and KVKK
Where the EU/EEA GDPR and Türkiye’s KVKK apply, we rely on:
- Contractual necessity to provide the app, authenticate you, and enforce your plan and device limits.
- Legitimate interests for security, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and product improvement (balanced against your rights).
- Consent where required (e.g., marketing communications, if any).
- Legal obligation where we must retain certain records (e.g., tax or accounting).
6. How We Use Data
- Provide, operate, and update the Software and your plan features.
- Authenticate users, manage licenses, and enforce device concurrency limits.
- Monitor reliability, diagnose issues, and improve performance.
- Communicate about updates, security notices, and important changes.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions through third-party payment processors.
7. Sharing and Processors
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited personal data with:
- Service providers acting on our behalf, including authentication/hosting and analytics providers and email delivery providers, under data processing terms.
- Payment processors for subscription purchases and renewals (if applicable).
- Authorities where required by law, subpoena, or court order.
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.
8. International Transfers
Personal data may be processed outside your country, including in jurisdictions that may not provide the same level of data protection. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) for transfers.
9. Retention
We retain account, license, and billing-related records for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax and accounting). Analytics and crash data are retained for a period consistent with product improvement needs and then deleted or de-identified. You can request deletion of your account data as described below.
10. Security
We employ reasonable technical and organizational measures, such as encrypted transport (TLS), access controls, and least-privilege design in our systems. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
11. Children’s Privacy
RedenFlow is available worldwide and may be used by individuals under the age of 13/16, depending on jurisdiction. We do not intentionally collect more personal data than necessary to operate accounts (e.g., email and credentials). Where required by applicable law (e.g., COPPA, GDPR-K, KVKK), the consent of a parent or legal guardian must be obtained before a child uses the service. If you believe a child has provided us personal data without the necessary consent, contact us at info@smyrnai.co and we will take appropriate steps, including deletion where required.
12. Your Rights
Depending on your location (including the EU/EEA and Türkiye), you may have the right to: access, rectify, erase, or port your personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. We will respond to requests within the time limits required by law (typically 30 days).
13. How to Exercise Your Rights
Email us at info@smyrnai.co with your request. We may need to verify your identity and jurisdiction.
